The season now is truly finished <br />and all our funds are well diminished. <br />I know a trick of how to be <br />by Easter, thinner and debt free. <br /> <br />Stop eating, use the fat that's stored, <br />the calories you ate while bored <br />and those that came inside a glass, <br />just have a look at your fat ass! <br /> <br />So, now you fast for forty days <br />and then commence another phase <br />when celery and lettuce greens <br />will be your new survival means. <br /> <br />You save a bundle on the food <br />(though it may modify your mood) , <br />and with the dough that you don't spend <br />you pay the banker, in the end. <br /> <br />Debt free you get some hot-cross buns <br />and Easter ham, there's tons and tons. <br />Adipocytes fill up again <br />dress size awhile ago was ten. <br /> <br />But listen, chub, you have the time <br />to make amends, undo the crime. <br />Start counting days from Easter eh? <br />And dollars saved from all that pay. <br /> <br />So eat, make merry 'til July <br />then stop the chips, the beer and pie. <br />And when the season comes around <br />you're free of debt and Christmas bound.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/christmas-bound/
