I lie behind you in our night, <br />close, as your bum fits neatly <br />and so very sweetly, to me, <br />my hands had been requested <br />by OUR pair of lovely Twins, <br />again, there is a match <br />perhaps twas made up high <br />I told you that too much <br />especially of living things, <br />gets in the way, disturbs <br />through its societal demands, <br />a herd of cows with tangled tails <br />will shake foundations of a church! <br />You wait, it is your little tease, <br />before you reach and touch my face, <br />the tips of silken fingers stroke <br />with feather touch the templebone, <br />and rest within the dip that joins <br />in a Teutonic swoop, the jaw. <br />I lean into your hand and press, <br />you answer with a subtle move, <br />one finger leading while the other trails, <br />I feel you now against my loins, <br />no vacant space remains between, <br />I hunger for your tiny little sounds, <br />part breath and yet a melody for sleep. <br />We change, a subtle change <br />and you now offer me your lips <br />a lazy kiss, there would be many more <br />hence tis may be the night's routine. <br />But there is a delay, you stretch, <br />your sternocleidomastoid, it is mine, <br />you love the name and have it memorised, <br />it lends its softness and the curve <br />and frames your neck, as it does now. <br />Your tongue, all moist and timid flesh <br />slides silently between your lips <br />to see if mine are cared for well, <br />I part and feel its stamina, its heat <br />and its exuberance dart into corners now <br />as if to check the inventory of the day. <br />The plan had been to go to Heia* soon, <br />the morning would be cold and painted gray, <br />tonight however, Eros played a melancholy tune, <br />and soon the tide did carry both of us away. <br /> <br />Note: HEIA is a term used in the German speaking countries. <br /> It means bed or bedtime.<br /><br />Herbert Nehrlich<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/sleep-well-with-me/
