Time and a time over once more gray sky, <br />With moments of dark in the evening <br />Where songs of the deep and faraway sing <br />And no one but dancing shadows comply <br />The day when it's lost in twilight flowing <br />Like a flickering flame of the candle's fire <br />Those give of its glow to the hour's desire <br />And then into dark once again is going <br /> <br />The deep of its dream that you can recall <br />When extended it comes to give its dream <br />Like the flickering flame of the day's fall <br />When in the night its memories are gleam <br />Each glowing like life's ever farewell <br />It keeps you in a moment of its spell<br /><br />Peter S.
