I read a poem by a girl today <br />Who asked her reader to convey <br />Just why he loved her and which feature <br />Made him aspire to be her creature. <br />She itemized them one by one — <br />The obvious ones—but then ‘the thumb’! ! ! <br />I asked her ‘Why the thumb, young duck? ’ <br />‘Because’ she said — <br />‘It would be good to suck! ’ <br /> <br />Written as a comment to the poem, ‘Why Do You Want Me? ’ <br />by O.A.S.
