If you're angry and you're standing, the Prophet said, <br />Go sit down or lie on a bed. <br />And if this still doesn't help you, <br />Go and purify yourself with Wudu. <br />Some suppress their anger and squeeze it inside, <br />Others take it out on a world so wide. <br />They cry, swear and shout all by the will of Shaytan, <br />Who comes to them and takes over their Iman. <br />They hurt themselves or many others <br />Carelessly abusing their sisters and brothers. <br />Soon the Shaytan will get fed up and bored <br />And allows the soul to return to his Lord. <br />This is when the human mind starts to regret, <br />And begs Allah, ' My sins and bad deeds, please forget.' <br />Why go through all these painful times <br />Just by committing Shaytan's crimes. <br />By using water extinguish this fire <br />And take your Iman to a level higher. <br />Don't allow the fire to get in your way <br />And from the straight path, lead you astray.<br /><br />Rukhsar Ahmed<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/anger-151/
