Timmy Duggan is the barber of the West End <br />A humorous man though in ways rather shy <br />He's lived in Millstreet for as long as I can remember <br />Since he left his old home in Lisnaboy. <br /> <br />Timmy Duggan was an astute greyhound trainer <br />And many of his dogs named after Bina his dear wife <br />She hails from Annagloor two miles from Millstreet <br />And together they have known a happy life. <br /> <br />In Millstreet he is well known and respected <br />And for over fifty years he's lived in the West End <br />He goes out of his way to help out others <br />And to many he has been a valued friend. <br /> <br />On pleasant evenings through the Spring and Summer <br />In the Town Park at West End Millstreet Town <br />A man one often see is Tim the barber <br />Around the playing pitch walking up and down. <br /> <br />In Millstreet every one knows Tim the barber <br />And around the Town his is a well known face <br />He arrived many years ago from Cullen <br />And green old Lisnaboy his old home place.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/timmy-the-barber/
