Once upon a rainbow. <br />The rain washed away my sorrow. <br />The angel's are singing their song. <br />And the church bell's are going off loudly 'ding dong.' <br />I watch my children playing. <br />Not listening to a single word I'm saying. <br />I look up to listen to the birds singing happily. <br />Busily, building their nests for their upcoming family. <br />I smile up at the sun; and feel God's love all around me. <br />I soak it all up and get drunk off of his ecstasy. <br />My children run up to me holding out their arms. <br />I pull them close to me and feel my heart go numb. <br />When, I look at my children I see, it was because of him that they are a part of me. <br />I then realized, my happiness comes from his creativity.<br /><br />Rebecca Moors<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dedicated-to-god/
