I dreamt of a poem yesterday, <br />On the couch. <br />I think it was about life, or maybe death <br />I know it was something profound. <br />I think. <br /> <br />As I was coming out of the dream I realized, <br />That I would never remember the point I was making. <br />I remember thinking, what a shame, to not have a journal, <br />Or a typewriter, or a computer to record this thought. <br /> <br />It seems like a distant memory to me now. <br />Like a cousin you played with as a child, <br />That you now pass with a nod in the grocery store.<br /><br />Travis Williams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dream-25/
