An ambulance was making it´s way, <br />through the darkened streets of the town, <br />it had only turned the blue light on, <br />the siren had been shut down. <br /> <br />I never thought it could be so scary, <br />to see such a car by night, <br />it had been as if a silent threat, <br />was lurking beyond day´s light. <br /> <br />If the siren had screamed for some help, <br />it would have been much easier to bear, <br />but so it seemed that not even the aid-men, <br />were hoping that someone would dare, <br /> <br />to cross death´s plan in this silent night, <br />and would come to pray for the one. <br />So I sat in my car and couldn´t move, <br />´till the scary light was gone.<br /><br />Nadine Hock<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/ambulance-3/
