What’s left of God’s purpose when there is no God <br />is a sense that though absent he wants to feel missed, <br />which causes behavior that’s even more odd, <br />the need to start praying for him to exist. <br /> <br />In Tom Stoppard’s “The Invention of Love, ” A.
