Being cold isn't fun <br />You're safe in your own little shelter <br />But it still hurts <br />You think you know what you want <br />But inside you're lonelier than lonely <br />There's nothing but the gloom. <br /> <br />Detached, but longing <br />For something you're afraid to have <br />Wanting, but dare not admit <br />For fear they would ridicule you <br />Or how the boys might let you down <br />And break your heart into the tiniest pieces, <br />Even the geniuses cant fix. <br /> <br />You want to surrender <br />But you act tough anyway <br />'We must laugh at man to avoid crying for him' <br />So you fool yourself <br />You tell all your friends: <br />'I like being alone on a Saturday night; <br />Nothing beats it!
