I die aged 24 <br />Lost and alone <br />Not wanting life anymore <br />As I sat in my room <br />Facing my inevitable doom <br />I did not flinch, I did not shake <br />It was just as if I was not longer awake <br />As I closed my eyes <br />With a sudden gush <br />The music started <br />It finally felt as if I''d departed <br />Now I'm here <br />Nothing has changed <br />To me it seems the room is just the same <br />Life seemed dull and always grey <br />But maybe I chose to live that way <br />Now my life is full of colour <br />But everything has remained <br />In myself I have not changed<br /><br />Jeremy Williams<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/end-s-beginning/
