A mad man went insane, <br />that's expected. <br />When he tried to live again, <br />he was rejected. <br />Maybe we are the crazy ones, <br />and the crazy ones are the sane. <br />That's why they keep them in a place, <br />far from us and far from the pain. <br />Crazy ones don't know they're crazy, <br />you can't till who is sick, you're ill. <br />A fact of life from other facts amazing, <br />no wonder that life can turn into hell. <br />And no wonder insanity take the lead, <br />it led love and now it leads life. <br />No one knows what he really need, <br />or what would really ease his strife. <br />I knew what makes life so hard, <br />to live to bare and to understand. <br />Sadness is the feeling when putting the last card, <br />the very last in the game and heart is in the hand. <br />I knew it's aganist the nature that, <br />the mother goes after her daughter. <br />I know life is crazy and bad, <br />wars of all kind lead to man's slaughter. <br />The beauty is in the word of love, <br />before love ends but it's too late. <br />I knew what makes life tough, <br />some times we don't accept our faite. <br />I read poems and i never know the meaning, <br />and they that's the beauty of words. <br />I lived another life just to know i'm dreaming, <br />and losing the trace of reality hurts. <br />I know losing you led to my end, <br />the end of looking alive to me. <br />I started to feel the pleasure of pretend, <br />i become any one else but me. <br />Care not for who is crazy, <br />and who didn't lose his sanity. <br />Thoughts of mine becomes hazy, <br />however; i invent new rules of gravity. <br />My poem may be long, <br />but i reach to you trying. <br />I'm you with no place to belong, <br />and a part in me is dying. <br />World is very hard to understand, <br />and i fear to understand it at the end of time. <br />I kneal to my mind's demand, <br />my hands write and my heart ryhme. <br />Some times i'm looking at the half full, <br />and some times that hope is gone. <br />Off to the place beyond the iris and sun, <br />but what i never knew is, <br />who is the real crazy one...<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/crazy-ones/
