The sky is so beautiful <br />A painting God would admire <br />The colors are so brilliant <br />Much like a raging fire <br /> <br />Clouds of orange and yellow <br />Crisscross across the sky <br />If I could paint it I would <br />But I would not even try <br /> <br />And then I see a windmill <br />A design that cannot compare <br />So magnificent in structure <br />A creation that is rare <br /> <br />A statue with a simple thought <br />A little girl with a butterfly <br />So beautiful and perfect <br />It makes me want to cry <br /> <br />A barn with so much usefulness <br />So much purpose that it has <br />You can picture all the creatures <br />A building with such cause <br /> <br />A church with the sunset behind it <br />Is there anything more beautiful to see? <br />I love such simple beauty <br />As simple as nature’s tree!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/simple-beauty/
