As we drove along the winding track <br />Stopped the car and got out our Pack <br />We all took-off to the end of the Dock <br />And jumped in the water for a Cold Shock! ! ! <br /> <br />After a couple of min's it was nice and Warm <br />Then all the water sports we would Perform <br />Tubing, Diving, Fishing, Swimming and Splashing <br />Sometimes one dropped there shorts and began Flashing <br /> <br />But up on Bass Lake that water we could Drink! <br />Makes you want to stop and Think <br />How clean and beautiful the earth used to Be <br />But now it's Polluted, and nothin's gonna change <br />As far as I can See<br /><br />David Darbyshire<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/up-on-bass-lake/
