Is it just me, or do your parents always go on about your future? <br />I don't see why, It's my future. Not theirs! <br />They're always like, 'Whatever you do now will reflect in the future'. <br />I guess it's true but they don't let us learn from our own mistakes. <br />We have to learn from theirs. <br /> <br />My dad is the worst, everything i do is his business. <br />It's like, if i get one bad grade on a report he goes all out <br />Starts saying that there is always room for improvement. <br />It's not like i don't already know that <br />He tries to get a perfect life through me <br /> <br />My mum just lets me get on with life <br />She isn't bothered as long as I try hard. <br />She lets me learn from my mistakes, as long as i do actually learn. <br />I know she is always there to catch me when or if I fall! <br />Mum rocks. <br /> <br />So just remember everyone...... <br />Learn from your own mistakes <br />Do what you wanna do <br />Live your life to the full <br />Try your hardest and.... <br />Ignore your parents! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! <br /> <br />That way life should be great! !<br /><br />Becky Ginn<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-future-8/
