To stay focused upon the Lord we <br />Must strip off our old garments and put <br />Upon the garments that will protect us <br />From the evil that lurks around us <br /> <br />We must renew our hearts, minds, our bodies <br />And place upon them the full armor of God <br />So that we can withstand that which is just <br />Over the horizon <br /> <br />We must pray more study God's word more <br />And live our lives more so to honor and <br />Bring glory and praise unto God <br /> <br />We must put on the fight of our lives <br />For a war is coming that is more evil and <br />Dreadful than mankind has ever seen <br />Or experienced and every person <br />Must be fully prepared <br /> <br />Satan is on guard 24/7 so we must be equally <br />Prepared and aware of his evil tactics <br />If we cling closely to God and seek his <br />Face daily-we will prevail! <br />We will recognize <br />His tactics before he has a chance to destruct <br />Our lives and the lives of our loved ones <br />Further and we shall all praise God when <br />The final battle is won! <br />©Copyright 2006 Becky LaPrarie<br /><br />Becky LaPrarie<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/stay-focused-upon-the-lord/
