Religion: <br />I hate it <br />Not hating God, that is. <br />I just hate Religion <br />Or rather, <br />Those who shove it in my face <br />'God will save you if you believe.' <br />I believe, yet I am not saved <br />'There is hope in Jesus Christ.' <br />Good for Jesus. Do you think he'd share? <br />'Where there is God, there is light.' <br />That's great....if you like a blinding light searing straight into your BRAIN! <br />(as for me, I'll stay where it's darker, so I can sleep, okay?) <br />I have had people call me athiest <br />Okay, I'm a little guilty of being sarcastic <br />Cynical, even.. <br />But athiest? <br />Do you think, just because I don't go to church, <br />That I'm athiest? <br />Really? <br />Because........ <br />If God really IS everywhere........ <br />Why am I going to a specific building to worship? <br />He knows my address <br />He could send me an e-mail <br />Or something...... <br />I honestly don't think that going to church is all that important to Him, anyway.<br /><br />Amanda Saveley<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/religion-10/
