A shepherds Dog <br /> <br />Once upon a time * there was a dog his name was shepp. <br /> <br />Shepp was no ordinary dog, he was trained as a manager of sheep to keep the herd together not to let them stray. <br /> <br />He was in charge for their safety day and night, being aware that the predators waiting to make a strike, for he knew the flock had to stay together in a group, they would be in safety from the thief in the night. <br />As the predators were to watch for strays and lost sheep. <br />One day the wind was wild and howling, all the sheep in their pen, <br />Supposedly at ease for the rest of the night all safe as all stragglers counted for. Gates were rattling the wind was fierce, sheep all nervous did not know what to do. The gates fly open the bellwether jumps in fright, headed to the hills running with all his might. All the sheep to follow his example through out the night. <br />Old Shepp goes berserk runs to his master, the sheep are in danger, the howling winds to do much harm, what am I to do, the master pays no attention to his call, ignores the sign of the dog. <br />Shepp runs out again but it is too late, the sheep are gone, goes back to his master, same as before, Shepps Master decides the dog had something to say, no attention did he pay, what he did not know the sheep would be gone when he reach the gate. <br />Shepp decides to take matters in hand, He heads towards the fleeing sheep search out the bellwether, its to late for he jumps into the void, white cliffs of Dover. All the sheep to follow, Shepp with a broken heart did his job laid at his masters feet, the Master pulled out his gun, puts Shepp to sleep.
