Little white flowers
Dancing in the wind,

Little icicles
Spinning until they fall
In a feather like snow,

Poems coming in big ships,
They’ve crossed oceans of innocence,
To find a gateway, to explode…

Music, little serenades,
On a street in France,
Lovers looking in each others eyes…
To find themselves!

Little words of wisdom,
The big meaning of life,
The great treasure we all carry,
But we are unaware!

If only for a little second,
The shortest of all seconds that flow
In the river of time,
We could see the miraculous light of life,

I wonder, how would we live
The days we still have on Earth?

Yes the death clock is ticking,
And so does the life clock…
Are they the same
Are they just one?

“No”, comes an answer
From a pentagram,
When the light of candles
Are dancing frantically,

I know the answer to the question,
Do you?

©Elya Thorn.
