Today you shall know, <br />I will send this messenger to you, <br />And he shall tell you my story, <br /> <br />But not as he would say any other story, <br />He will tell it to you, <br />In full of mystery anecdotes: <br /> <br />“She was born on water, but also on land, <br />The earth that she walked, <br />The mud that she played with, <br />Is at the end of the worlds, <br />Of all worlds, <br /> <br />The eye from the sky that appears at night, <br />Has always gazed upon her face, <br />And her own eyes, <br />Could not be closed, <br /> <br />When time came to her, <br />She said “Go away! ”, <br />When death drifted from her, <br />She said “Come back! ”, <br /> <br />When the wolf wanted to come her way, <br />She hesitated, so the wolf howled <br />And went back in his winter land! <br /> <br />When the sun shined in her blond hair, <br />She dyed it black, <br />When summer came to her, <br />She finally agreed! <br /> <br />And that’s where she is right now, <br />In full summer, <br />In full fertility of the mind, <br />She opens gates, she closes hatred, <br />She lies still for hours, <br />Trying to unveil a long immense mystery, <br />An island, where we all go, <br />Mostly when we cry, <br /> <br />Now she wanted me to give you this message, <br />So that you would not worry, <br /> <br />If you find the hidden messages, <br />The hidden meanings, <br />You might just find, your own heart! ” <br /> <br />And so my messenger went, <br />Carrying with him a harp, <br /> <br />Hopefully he will comeback, <br />With a message from you! <br /> <br />©Elya Thorn.
