This poem was inspired by a poem by Patricia Gale titled 'A Day @ The Office'. My thanks for the inspiration Patricia Gale-Thank you again! God bless all poets-MJG.

Walk in observing a clear glass of water turned upside down on top of the desk...
Drawer one turned upside down.

This in turn from me creates a facial frown...
Who is the demoned imp-That evil pesk?

Drawer two super glued shut tighter than a safecracker's night mare...
Smirks and smiles on fellow worker's faces as they can only stare up at the ceiling above.

There is only distasteful jealousy and hatred...
No respect and a clear lacking of love.

I am the boss....
You are all fired.

The paycheck is your follie's final missed loss...
Of all of you this day i am finally fed up with and impatiently tired.

No more pranks tomorrow or the next...
No more mindless days of being ticked off and irated and vexed.

You all are my employees as ex...
No more anger and no more betrayed hex.

Get out, get out the door real fast...
Unemployed days will forever fill your days to for eternity to last.

You are gone...
You are history's past.

I bid you one last ado...
This last day employed that you are through.

Bye bye bye...
You shameful odi-tie.

Begone peasant's at last...
Get in line at the unemployment line and be the last last last.

Michael Gale

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pranked-at-the-office-by-disgruntled-employees/
