(I abhore drunk drivers and thusly have wrote this poem about their i don't give a damned attitude for life or anyone's safety.) <br /> <br /> <br />More bars in more places... <br />Not enough land or spaces. <br /> <br />Pass that brew on down the bar... <br />For soon-I've got to get in and drive away in my car. <br /> <br />Along i go on down the street.... <br />It is a lot easier than walking on my own two feet. <br /> <br />Whoa! Where did that person come from? ... <br />It does not look as if they'd be out hitchin' with their thumb. <br /> <br />Thud! Now a crunch, as my car runs them down... <br />I guess they won't be smilin', but be wearin' a frown. <br /> <br />There they go, on down... <br />Lots of red blood, not colored like a shade of brown. <br /> <br />Ambulance on it's way... <br />Gotta go, i just can't stay. <br /> <br />It's off to jail i go... <br />When i get out, nobody will know. <br /> <br />It is my seventh offense... <br />Just last week, i plowed through a wooden fence. <br /> <br />Right through someone's front living room... <br />The sound, then heard was a crashing boom! <br /> <br />I'll still keep on driving without a license, because i just won't learn... <br />Maybe next time i'll have to kill someone or even make them burn. <br /> <br />That beer is oh so fine... <br />The only thing better is Ripple, Thunderbird, or wine.<br /><br />Michael Gale<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/confessions-of-a-forever-drunk-driver/
