As I get up in the morning <br />So anxious to watch the sun rise <br />My camera is in my hand <br />For each day is a new surprise <br /> <br />For the sunrises are the best way <br />To start the day out right <br />Driving along I see oil pumps <br />Oh, what a wonderful sight <br /> <br />Spending time with family in <br />The perfect place to live <br />For Yukon is the city, my friend <br />That has everything to give <br /> <br />Old homes that have seen <br />Many better days than now <br />But out in a nearby field <br />You’ll still see horses and cows <br /> <br />And then at the end of the day <br />As I watch the falling sun <br />I feel grateful for my life once more <br />My wonderful world in Yukon!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-world-in-yukon/
