I guess when I'm gone <br />and I cant carry on <br />people will do what they do <br />they'll tell you storys <br />about things I've done <br />most of which will be true <br />then they'll change their faces <br />and say I've been places <br />I've never seen or knew <br />but I'm just an old ramblin gambling man <br />doing what I've got to do <br /> <br />I'm just an old ramblin gambling man <br />take it from me that its true <br />I'll give you odds <br />that are second to none <br />then I'll go off somewhere new <br />I'll take my chances and put down my slice <br />on horses, or poker, blackjack, and dice, <br />fix the odds in my favour where ever I can <br />cause I'm just an old ramblin gambling man <br /> <br />I'll drive fast cars <br />and go drinking in bars <br />and I'll give some women the eye <br />I must be quite handsome <br />they often fall for me <br />well I'm just that kind of a guy <br />some fellas get jealous <br />and I get in fights <br />but it's only to find out <br />who's wrong and who's right <br />I'm just an old ramblin gambling man <br />struggling through life the best that I can <br /> <br />I'll dress quite smart <br />it's a kind of an art <br />it makes people see what I mean <br />it opens doors and it gives you a start <br />when you know that you havent a bean <br />they'll soon get talking <br />and part with their cash <br />well if your gonna do it <br />do it with class <br />lifes just a game of roulette thats been canned <br />and I'm just an old ramblin gambling man <br /> <br />We all end up square at the end of the day <br />just as we started the same <br />whether your King, or a Queen, or a Jack, <br />well Joker it's part of the game <br />don't get upset when you look at your hand <br />it can change in an instant <br />it's never been planned <br />remember who told you <br />when I'm dead and damned <br />it was that old ramblin gambling man. <br /> <br /> <br />copyright controlled C moore (raptor music.)<br /><br />Charles M.
