We took a limo to the airport, <br />England was our destination. <br />Looking out the airplane window <br />Came to be a fascination. <br />Ireland with its luscious green <br />And then we hit the London fog, <br />But all seemed calm and quite serene, <br />Knowing soon we'll see our friends. <br />Alina and Mark were there to greet us, <br />What happiness there came to be. <br />We only had two weeks to visit <br />And so many places yet to see. <br />We visited Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, <br />Saw the Rothchild Mansion from a distance. <br />Driving to Yorkshire was quite a hassle <br />But plenty of Tea Gardens to stop and rest. <br />Fish n chips down by the sea <br />And a museum, I forgot to mention, <br />Drinking warm beer and plenty of tea, <br />One day we attended a large convention. <br />Mark drove us back to Heathrow airport, <br />California was our destination. <br />Looking out the airplane window <br />Came to be a fascination.<br /><br />Debora Soramaki<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/england-bound/
