I'm trying to understand whats happened Grandad, <br />i'm feeling lonely, and i'm feeling sad, <br />i'm trying to hide all the pain that i'm feeling, <br />it's like a stack of books from floor to ceiling, <br />it's like a shattered mirror i can't see through, <br />and i don't know what to say or do! <br />i've cried so many tears, <br />there's no more left to be cried, <br />there's so much time i'm trying to abide, <br />you're my Grandad so special and dear, <br />what has happened was my biggest fear, <br />it's like a hole drove deep in my heart, <br />it feels so untrue, that we have been split apart, <br />and it doesn't matter where i go, <br />or what i do, <br />coz i know i wont be alone, <br />you will be with me too!<br /><br />Emma Jane Rae<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-miss-you-grandad/
