When my life gets confusing and I know I have taken; the wrong path. <br />Not sure of which way to turn. <br />Feeling as kindling ready to burn, <br />I feel broken with words of salvation unspoken. <br />I start, crying believing in redemption more. <br />I'll look up to Heaven with tears running. <br /> <br />I'll run to you, Lord <br />Seeing weeping faces <br />Living in dark places, <br />Feeling Heavenly graces, <br />I will run to you, Lord <br /> <br />When I realize I can't take anymore beatings. <br />Feeling too ashamed to sit in on salvation meetings, <br />I know I've been a disgrace. <br />I'm ashamed for anyone to see my face. <br /> <br />I'll run to you, Lord <br />Seeing mean faces, <br />Escaping dark places, <br />Feeling Heavenly graces, <br />I will run. <br />I'll run to you Lord. <br /> <br />When I see and feel, acceptance in the people. <br />No longer feeling like a stranger running from danger. <br />I will run to the steeple letting God's love pour. <br />Like a renewing rain, lifting all of life's pain. <br />No longer feeling the enemy's strain, <br />But feeling Heaven's gain, <br /> <br />I will run to you, Lord.
