I never thought I'd do self harm <br />Get a blade and cut my arm. <br />I thought people who did it were sad, <br />It was either that or very mad. <br /> <br />I didn't know what they did feel, <br />But that feeling of cold steel, or for attention or was it <br />for real. <br />But then those feelings come to me, <br />And this is how it come fo be. <br /> <br />My head got tight, myheart just burst <br />I knew I had to prepare for the worst, <br />I got the blade and stuck it in. <br />Blood welled out and I'd pierced the skin. <br /> <br />When all my fury had been spent <br />Weiriness filled me, the anger went. <br />I'd look at my arms, and then I'd cry <br />At this result of my hurt, that I had felt, <br /> <br />Its hard to explain the hurt ans the pain but I no im strong enough to last another DAY........<br /><br />Lisa Sherry<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-self-harm-poem/
