What if i could fall into the sky, <br />skies which are whiter than milk. <br />How will the time pass me by? <br />living in a velvet world like silk. <br />And what if i could imagine any thing, <br />and all that i imagine comes true. <br />I'll hear a song that i used to sing, <br />and i'll imagine only you.. <br />Maybe finally we will be together, <br />and have a story in a place far far away. <br />Maybe we will care for each other, <br />among stars in the sky we will fly away. <br />And what if i could write, <br />a poem that no poet could write in his life. <br />About the skies are white, <br />and things that never existed in this life. <br />What if i kept on dreaming, <br />of every thing i wouldn't dare to do. <br />What if my poems were streaming, <br />just with the words (i love you) . <br />And what if i had my own land, <br />even the greatest traveller never saw before. <br />And a language only i understand, <br />and roses grow in divine colours in front of my door. <br />But what if i was caught in my imagination, <br />what if i could never return back from there. <br />Would you care to look for my destination, <br />and you come to me and bring me from there. <br />What if i asked you to stay with me, <br />and i promised you a greater love. <br />Will you care to stay with me, <br />or will you leave me caught above? <br />Would you sacrifice your soul, <br />to live this life eternaly? <br />Will you care at all, <br />to let go of every thing to be with me? <br />And i fly down back to you, <br />maybe i don't have to imagine to know, <br />the love for me inside of you...<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/what-if-i/
