The full moon is out, <br />Her divine gown is flittering <br />In the fugue of night. <br />We sit here in <br />The midst of an acrid wind, <br />On the highest height. <br /> <br />We look down <br />From the hill <br />At the circus below. <br />Lit with neon, <br />Our picture show. <br /> <br />We are simply <br />Tattoos along the jewel <br />Of the full moon. <br />Daylight is far, <br />Sleep is gone, <br />The night is our boon. <br /> <br />The trees are lulled <br />Into a <br />Swaying romance. <br />Maybe we should <br />Follow them, come, <br />Let us dance.<br /><br />K.
