The pain that you caused me was unbearable, <br />you made me cry everytime i thought of you, <br />you stepped into my life for like five seconds, <br />then stepped out of it. <br /> <br />I missed you, <br />why did you have to go and dedicate your love to her, <br />who cannot possibly love you like i do? <br /> <br />I know it took time for me to like you back, <br />but if you really liked me, <br />u might probably wait a little while more, <br />you know girls are fashionably late rite? <br /> <br />I missed the chance, <br />which flashed before my very eyes. <br />I was drowned by the pain of regrets <br />which hurts so much, <br />night and day. <br /> <br />But i lived through it, <br />I survived it. <br />I realised i didn't need you to be happy, <br />I only had to conquer my feelings and thoughts to be who i am now. <br /> <br />All the pain is left in the past, <br />I have reached the light that shine so <br />brightly at the end of the tunnel. <br /> <br />As god promised, there's always an end to the pain.<br /><br />Lorraine Rennison<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/as-god-promised/
