I really am not to fond of this poem. However, I feel that in order for people to know me as a poet I need to make all of my poetry available. <br /> <br />I don't understand these feelings <br />I have no control of my actions <br />I can't stop myself from glancing your way <br />My heart beats fast at the slightest touch <br />You've made me laugh, you've made me cry <br />You've shown me you have a sensitive side <br />When I'm near you, my breathing is out of control <br />It stops and goes, then stops then goes <br />When I hear your voice, I get chills through my spine <br />And I wish that I could slow down time <br />When I'm near you, my insides flutter <br />But when we're apart my heart starts to stutter <br />To stutter <br />And slow <br />And slow <br />And stop <br />I remind myself to breathe <br />I imagine your face <br />I close my eyes and hear your voice <br />I can nearly feel your gentle touch <br />In my head I see your gorgeous brown eyes <br />I almost feel your breath on my face <br />My eyes snap open <br />The dream is gone <br />I wish you were mine<br /><br />Lacey UnKnown<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-wish-145/
