A vapour dream of floating intoxication <br />As i slowly drowned in a vat of brandy <br />My giggling intoxication, was at last complete <br />For i dreamt all my friends <br />Were gathered under a night black sky <br />Set against a pale ice blue landscape <br />Roaming the dream was the elephant celebes <br />Riding a pencil thin tube <br />In front of the elephant, stood a naked woman <br />With no head, touching the trunk <br />My drunken dribbling head, was leering from a wall <br />And the wall was wailing <br />Out of the herringbone forrest, flew a huge bird <br />Who devoured my head, then cried out <br />He who lives for intoxication <br />Shall forever sleep uneasy <br /> <br />Art series 2006<br /><br />allan James saywell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dream-of-intoxication/
