A wonderland it seemed to be <br />A world of sparkling white <br />A frozen blanket snuggly hugged <br />All things that were in sight <br /> <br />The air was kind of murky <br />As snowflakes filled the sky <br />I couldn’t recognize a thing <br />I didn’t even want to try <br /> <br />For it truly was breathtaking <br />I kind of like this brand new place <br />Like stepping into another time <br />My world’s like a different space <br /> <br />For you see, a storm blew in <br />My entire world had changed <br />As everything was transformed <br />Like cob-web lace arranged <br /> <br />I grabbed my coffee and camera <br />And then I started out my day <br />Taking photos of the beauty <br />And the laughing kids at play!<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-sparkling-wonderland/
