One sunny day I noticed <br />That way up on a hill <br />Several cows were grazing <br />Everything so peaceful and still <br /> <br />They didn’t seem to notice <br />That I was watching them <br />So I grabbed a digital camera <br />And my shooting then began <br /> <br />The hill had dips and dents <br />So lumpy and uneven it was <br />Some cows lay in the hollows <br />Calves resembled small black fuzz <br /> <br />Some curled up not minding <br />They didn’t even have a bed <br />The whole world was their bedroom <br />Nature’s open space instead <br /> <br />It seemed as though they enjoyed <br />One another’s company <br />Out in the wild blue yonder <br />No even the shade of a tree <br /> <br />Can you imagine just how simple <br />How easily we would be fulfilled <br />If we were a cow instead of a person <br />Just grazing upon a hill?<br /><br />Marilyn Lott<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/grazing-upon-a-hill/
