Selfishness is in you <br />been there since the day <br />your mother pushed you through. <br /> <br />Had me fooled most of the time, <br />the other half I try to forget what you've said <br />praying all the while you won't hurt me again. <br /> <br />Selfishness is not a permanent condition, <br />open your heart and set it free like a bird... <br />it CAN soar to the heavens into Gods hands. <br /> ((AND)) <br />Just remember when you have the urge, <br />to be selfish you can say NO and let it go... <br />On that day I too can forget and WE can be free of it. <br /> <br />Without it we can live happily everafter... <br />not selfishly~not you first, not me first. <br />But (WE) first!
