Two souls <br />separately beat for each other <br />yet they continue to persist <br />not knowing one another <br />They do not realize <br />they were meant to be tied <br />and exist as one <br />till they fall and die <br />This unity that's to be <br />brought by something divine <br />will leave each person <br />feeling fully refined <br />That one day <br />when these two are wed <br />will be the day <br />when new ground is to be tread <br />They will walk the new path <br />that merrily emerged <br />as their ways of life <br />gloriously began to merge <br />The purity vows are broken <br />as they take their token <br />to a wonderful world <br />that was, until now, unspoken <br />This new world <br />to which they depart <br />will tie a knot <br />that's unwilling to part <br />This divine union <br />that has built a communion <br />will stand till death bids each <br />a much wanted reunion <br />Their unfailing love <br />will be enough <br />because it was inspired <br />by the Immortal above <br />As they begin to dance <br />in the endless romance <br />they will be connected <br />in the melody of a single trance <br />These two separate souls <br />that are now one <br />have entered a three-legged race <br />that has officially begun <br />Though their path may have <br />a divot or two <br />they will finish the race <br />through and through <br />Because this divine duet <br />will never fret <br />but will be a couple <br />the world will never forget<br /><br />Trevor Schulte<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-divine-wedding/
