Can I be intimate with God and not have touch? <br />Will my closeness be as a child to a family; that I love so much. <br />Can I love my creator without touching to give me a warm human feeling <br />Must I be satisfied to be separate and know what is revealing? <br /> <br />To only have a glimpse or a peek and remain apart <br />To acknowledge yet not in a place sanctified in my heart. <br />Told to love with my heart, mind, body and soul <br />Yet the realness does not illuminate me to recognize the whole. <br /> <br />God is here, there and everywhere; to include above and below <br />Can I love by just words that only let me know? <br />I saw God in the amazing creativity of a beautiul grasshopper <br />Wearing a gown of color that would have been a Broadway show stopper. <br /> <br />I saw God in the birth of my sons and every child <br />That its love for each of us is strong and not mild. <br />I see God in the goodness and acts of a struggling mankind <br />Always to protect the child and of you remind. <br /> <br />I have seen God in the excellence of the physical form <br />To know the gift of spirit is in each of us; when we are born. <br />I know God walks with the child, the lonely and also the weak <br />God does not deny those who cannot seek. <br />. <br />I know God provides for nature to enrich the harvest and bounty <br />May we always share; 'God Bless America; ' as a country. <br /> <br />04-08-06 Aho Speaks .<br /><br />AHO Speaks<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-verbal-journey/
