I sit there listning to the news, <br />And there it is, <br />His name is listed, <br />I weep and pray, <br />It isn't so, <br />But there's no denying it, <br />He's been taken from me, <br />By enemy lines, <br />I'll never see his face again, <br />I'll never imbrace him, <br />Or feel his gentle touch, <br />Because he is gone, <br />So I begin to breakdown, <br />Tears stream like raging rivers down my face, <br />My body shakes as if being jerked, <br />I run to my room, <br />and lay on my bed and stare at his picture, <br />And slowly begin to die inside, <br />Because my love is gone.<br /><br />Kathryn Miller<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-breakdown/
