Who will hear their screams? <br />Who will answer their cries? <br />It's been so long, it seems <br />Since they have sighed their sorrowful sighs. <br /> <br />They are waiting for their Moses <br />To deliver them from their plight. <br />As their Achilles' heel closes <br />The door on their pain free flight. <br /> <br />'How long? ', they ask <br />As they endure the strife, <br />As each day they face the task <br />Of carrying their heavy lot throughout life. <br /> <br />It seems like relief will never come, <br />As each day goes by without a sign <br />Of that long-awaited deliverer to enter their home <br />And ease their burden, and make them feel oh, so fine. <br /> <br />When willl the deliverer arrive? <br />'Never', to them it seems. <br />Each day is a burden to be alive, <br />As they wonder: 'Who will hear our screams? ' <br /> <br /> <br />Lord, there is none beside, nor before You. <br />Domine Deus, tu solus sanctus. Amen.
