I know a place <br />thats dark and lonely <br />a desolate place <br />where wind blows coldly <br />where death creeps slowly <br />and the night is eternal <br />and only ash remains <br />from a raging inferno <br />this place is near, <br />for I know it well <br />this place is empty <br />and it is my hell <br />where there is weeping <br />and constant sorrow <br />and it knows not <br />the meaning of tomorrow <br />as I search for light <br />in the constant dark, <br />my thirst goes unquenched <br />my place, my heart.<br /><br />Steven L.
