As I walk past the heaps of snow, <br />The sunshine hits my eye with all it’s glow, <br />Different thoughts cross my mind, <br />My babies sleeping, at the end of days grind, <br /> <br />Every new thing that I experience, <br />I share for them to feel my ambience, <br />Loneliness is a punishment, I knew I wasn’t, <br />I smoked and drank my time away, <br /> <br />Years later someone desired to be a part, <br />But not of my future just the past, <br />Having crossed my glories I walked into barren land, <br />Was still good enough to help and hold hand, <br /> <br />Learnt a few lessons about profession love and life, <br />I was amazed to meet people of very different type. <br /> <br />(April 30,2007)<br /><br />Amit Biswas<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/926-part-of-my-past/
