Why would you hide from my eye? <br />Why are you so shy? <br />Why cry? <br />Why sigh? <br /> <br />I am strong because I live in the sky <br />I do not know why <br />I'm not unlike any random guy <br /> <br />But gray sky of silver linings <br />Dark ominous clouds <br />Red sky at night a sailors delight <br />Golden sunsets of brilliant brightness <br />And here u sit indoors at the tv <br /> <br />Not me <br />I awake each day late but early to a new sunset <br /> I witness gods art and stare up high at the sky <br />While u honk your horn at the traffic and sigh <br /> <br />I dont work <br />I dont play <br />I dont sing <br />I aint gray <br /> <br />To say that I live in the sky <br />for the touch of thistle and the taste of rye <br />Or to say that i'm not <br />Any more than an ordinary guy <br />Isn't it easy to see just why? <br /> <br />When i open my mouth to speak <br />Onerous syllables reek and reek <br />When you open your voice to be heard <br />You make only the pathetic sound of the hummingbird <br /> <br />Why do i cry 'I live in the sky?
