The ghost truly lives in this machine. <br />I am startled by its presence daily. <br /> <br />I walked to the end of the world today <br />And all I found was a sleeping stone. <br />I threw it back to God <br />and asked him to wake it up. <br /> <br />Collecting skulls will keep the universe <br />enthralled. <br /> <br />The dark paint on cave-walls <br />believes in my futility. <br /> <br />What Crow knows is more than I can <br />ever say. <br /> <br />Crying to the moon? <br />Perhaps I am just in love. <br /> <br />I will transcend time and space <br />before death slaughters my nuclei. <br /> <br />Hope with me, mankind, <br />that only we might develop night-vision. <br /> <br />Hovering souls and whispering ghosts <br />gather around my knuckles and ears. <br /> <br />I see the world. <br />I can see it move through space.<br /><br />C.E.
