Tears are nothing but depressed and salty water
they fall from fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters

have you ever heard the exppresion 'Only real men cry.'?
it's not the truth, everyone cries, including you and I

they drip from your face to your shoes
drip, drip, then drop, where ever they choose

Tears fall from your face wether a spinkle or a shower
these little tear drops have a strong amount of power

they tumble when they please
when they come they come with ease

sometimes whrn you cry
the tears stick to your face and then dry

the cause of these monstrosities
could be a broken heart, a death, or even skinned knees

I would know I have experienced these
but mostly the first one of these three

Tears fall when your heart has been broken
they hurt, like you have just been choken

when someone dear to you has sliped away
you do nothing but sit and cry all damn day

I know everyone has had skinned knees
from running to fast, or falling from trees

so this is my poem read it if you choose
but if you don't then I will cry and be all shades of blues

amanda johnson

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tears-22/
