Those eyes...... <br />teasing, innocent, and haunting, <br />charm and and beauty, flaunting, <br />those eyes..... <br /> fanned shut by incredible lashes, <br />casting shadows, showing flashes, <br />of blinding green or was it blue, <br />difficult to guess the hue, <br />of those eyes... <br />they had me under their spell <br />no words needed to tell, <br />all was said so well, <br />by just a glance of <br />those eyes......... <br />every glance, I sunk in deeper <br />they entwined me like a creeper, <br />hypnotising and capturing, <br />thrilling and enrapturing, <br />I though she was surely mine, <br />and then one day the betrayal, <br />the acting and the portrayal, <br />of a woman innocent, the denial <br />ready to stand a trial, <br />a test of her love <br />all said so skillfully by <br />those eyes, <br />twinkling and smiling. <br />so hopelessly beguiling, <br />and then the accusations, <br />and convincing justifications, <br />pleas and passionate swearing <br />left me helpless and fearing, <br />I was again going to succumb <br />to the devlish spell, <br />of those eyes.... <br />and then came the tears, <br />fanning to a flame, my fears, <br />it was true <br />I forgave her, <br />wanted to save her, <br />from her own weaknesses, <br />her liasons and tresspasses, <br />and I was back again, <br />a slave of <br /> those blue eyes. <br />never to be forgotten <br />me in love and besotten, <br />of those lovely <br /> bluish green eyes.<br /><br />Arti Chopra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/those-eyes-2/
