Time has a habit of just flying <br />Just yesterday, we were <br />So young and carefree <br />Today we are so close to dying <br /> <br />Time has a habit of flying.. <br /> <br />Just yesterday we were children <br />Laughing and playing <br />Without a care in the world <br />Slowly we grew up <br />Saw life in its many colours <br />Harsh realities also unfurled <br /> <br />Life began to teach us many lessons <br />Time and again <br />From some we had loss <br />From others we got gain <br />Some bought us happiness <br />Some bought us pain <br />We learnt not to do <br />the same mistakes yet again <br /> <br />We learnt to carry on <br />Learnt the value of love <br />We saw wondrous happenings <br />Sent by God from above <br />Each moment we relived <br />Was magical and divine <br />But sadness interspersed <br />The intervals of time <br />Yet we carried on to realise <br />That a great healer is time <br />Lifes great journey <br />Is marked with rhythm and rhyme <br /> <br />Time has a habit of flying... <br /> <br />Lose not a moment <br />What you have, appreciate <br />Nothing is ours, nothing we made <br />Everything is HIS Grace <br />Let our ego, abate <br />What we got are His blessings <br />Be grounded, don't berate <br />Don't waste your precious time <br />By complaining and crying <br /> <br />Time has a habit of flying...... <br /> <br />Soon it will be time <br />When we will be a memory <br />To our kin <br />So leave behind love, <br />Embrace good karma, not sin <br />Enjoy each day of this life <br />Smiling, not sighing <br /> <br /> <br />Because time has a way of just flying.....<br /><br />Arti Chopra<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/time-926/
