Darkness.
I sit all alone,
Awaiting the advent of the storm.
It doesn't seem to want to come,
But I must release the tension.

Light.
Thunder roars, and the world ignites
With the flashing of the lightning.
The gale from the depths of my heart
Quickly begins to arise.

Storm clouds.
The waves of the tempest crash,
Flooding my soul with emotion
And causing others to behold
The fury I cannot contain.

Rain.
The downpour wanes in force
As my rage becomes sorrow.
I weep for the people I've hurt,
And I implore for forgiveness.

Sunlight.
The sun rises triumphantly,
Illuminating the world.
As it warms my disposition,
I set off to rebuild the damage.

Ebone' Ingram

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/tempest-of-fury/
