Black and white hues defined life <br />in variable degree either joy or strife <br />fate is unpredictable so are our dreams <br />like water from rains cascading into streams <br />becomes a river flows to the ocean of emotion <br />exciting tears of joy or sadness depend on notion. <br /> <br />Time comes when existence is filled with burden <br />it make us melancholic and our feelings are sadden <br />discouragement overcomes us becoming pessimistic <br />that we start to feel useless, empty and not optimistic <br />as such life for us becomes darkness like a chaotic prison <br />a dead end when anger and self pity dominates our notion. <br /> <br />Yet even in total darkness there is an ember of hope <br />when the heart still beats in rhythm with a life to cope <br />then the mind lit the conscience of wisdom with an insight <br />and with prayer God will enlightened our soul with foresight <br />then illuminates the darkness in us into bright colored rainbow <br />like newborns we're alive again so letting go of is a good notion.<br /><br />Marvin Brato Sr<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/good-notion/
